L&D Manager


We are looking for a LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER responsible for designing with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind, the intention is to expand on the talents and skills across all employees at all levels within an organisation. The role of the learning and development manager is to fundamentally assist in the organisation’s success, by coaching and developing its people.

Required Skills:

  • Degree at the university level, preferable in technical/educational related area
  • Certification in L&D or Diploma in L&D is a plus
  • Develop & execute an end-to-end model for planning, design, and implementing fresher induction training activities
  • Plan and execute skill assessment process as per plan
  • Build & execute the dashboard and MIS for sharing in progress status of training batches
  • Develop month-wise schedule & manage learning facilities using varied delivery channels
  • Develop, rationalize and manage vendor partners for effective fresher induction training programs
  • Work with business units for feedbacks, learning effectiveness, and improvising cost-effective and customized fresher induction training for various types of trainee intakes
  • Interpret data to judge progress and cost-effectiveness
  • Help the Tech Competency Leader to evaluate external learning provider's offers
  • Stay up-to-date with technology and e-learning developments and generate new ideas to draw targeted customers attention

Key Responsibilities:

  • The person would interact with technical experts and design/modify course content, training styles, techniques, or length for freshers
  • He/she should support in designing and developing appropriate training material for the course in a pedagogy approach and assist or work with other trainers when required
  • Must plan training schedules based on the training needs and execute the same. Ability to track progress against plan and take appropriate actions as necessary to meet the plan by breaking an assignment into tasks, estimate timelines, and sequencing activities in a logical manner
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate actions to ensure that identified deficiencies are corrected and close corrective actions
  • Evaluate fresher work and provide them with inputs
  • Should prepare reports to document the results of training and program evaluations
  • Should be willing to learn constantly and enhance knowledge. Should apply that knowledge in day-to-day work by taking initiatives
  • To prepare status of freshers and report to the Manager
  • Analyze the performance of freshers and accordingly re-structure the program based on need
  • Should maintain good connect with various stakeholders - both internal and external (colleges) and ensure smooth workflow
  • Proven experience as a Tech expert (4 yrs) willing to learn training skills
  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate) willing to learn tech skills
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • Besides proficiency with PowerPoint / Microsoft Office well-versed in the various learning management system (LMS) software available.
