Roku Developer
We are looking for a ROKU DEVELOPER to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience developing Roku TV apps, BrightScript
- Experience working on apps VOD, Live streaming Content
- Experience with working on a wide range of Roku devices.
- Experience with RESTful JSON feed consumption
- Strong knowledge of Roku native UI components like RowList, MarkupGrid, MarkupList
- Experience in JWT token, Oauth 2.0, Payment Gateway, 3rd party API integration.
- Knowledge in generating builds compatible to TV & test with real-devices, emulators
- Participate in the Agile development process, including scoping, technical design, estimation effort, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, maintenance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain TV(OTT) applications.
- Contribute to the CPE Roku codebase
- Create and configure A/B experiments to improve user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Add and update UI elements and screens
- Monitor and improve app performance
- Review and approve code changes from other developers
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Responsibility to develop unit test cases for his/her project module.
- Optimize performance for the apps and keep up to date on the latest industry trends.
- Create a 100% crash free experience for users by ensuring high quality aspects.
