To mark the end of a crazy year and ring in 2012, Contus Support hosted a New Year Party at the Radisson Blu, Chennai. The back-to- back toil, brainstorms and hectic work schedules came to a halt last Friday when the entire Contus team started fêting on the New Year festivities. Our C.T.O Mr. Dinesh Kumar gave an inaugural speech after which the party kicked off with an unusual spirit of loud cheer, hi-fiving enthusiasm and got increased to ten-fold with the lively haze of rock music, funny games and dancing.
The party hall was filled with fun loving Contusians high energy, some trying frizzy tattoos on their faces while few others opted to get a self portrait sketched from a hired professional. The presentation on How Contus evolved, The Contus Now and The Future Contus lighted the spirits of Contusians and was received with roaring applauds.
The event sparkled with the award ceremony, starting with C.E.O Mr.Balasubramaniyam announcing the “BBC Award” for the Best Bay Decoration Contest that happened earlier in the Day. The Design team- “Fantasy World” grabbed the BBC Award for creating a lively joyous ambience filled with adorable cartoon characters and games activities while the Business team turned up as Runner-Up. With the year ending, the Management felicitated the longtime employees who had been with Contus since day one with a prestigious “Loyalty Award”.
Good Managers know how to keep their employees happy, because, only happy employees are loyal and productive. The newcomers were motivated with “Budding Star Award” while a list of developers, designers and service experts who showed excellence in performance were encouraged with “Star Performer Award”. The Internet Marketing team- “the real revenue generators” was judged as the “Best Team Award” for its fantabulous performance in driving traffic and sales throughout the year.
Celebrated event conductors from the media world were invited who presented a witty entertainment piece and made the party more cheerful. Later which, the Dance floor opened and all Contusians tapped to the numbers the DJ scored until they were exhorted. The delicious four course menu glittered the dinner and made the day. However, New Year Celebration cannot be completed without sending and receiving gifts and so all Contusians returned home with adoring gifts.
In short, what a party!! A perfect way to wrap-up the year and start all new!!
